during november 16-17, the 1st technology exchange meeting on centralized signaling monitoring system was successfully held in guangzhou. casco was invited to attend the event and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics such as how to promote technological innovation in centralized signaling monitoring systems and how to enhance the o&m management with peers in the railway industry across the country.
this meeting was hosted by the automation committee of the china railway society (crs). the attending leaders and guests included he changshou, director of the communication and signaling department of the track & signaling maintenance division of china railway, luo jinglun, chief accountant of china railway guangzhou group co., ltd., chen jianyi, director of the signaling department of china railway guangzhou group co., ltd., jin jun, deputy director of the communication and signaling department of the track & signaling maintenance division of china railway, ye jianbin, director of the general affairs department of the track & signaling maintenance division of china railway, zhao yang, secretary-general of the automation committee of crs, leaders of the signaling departments of all railway groups, and more than 150 experts in total from china railway test & certification center limited, national railway quality inspection center, various railway design institutes, china railway publishing house, the editorial department of railway signalling & communication and system equipment manufacturers.
focus of the meeting
in his opening speech, he changshou reviewed the development history of china's centralized signaling monitoring system and put forward requirements for its future development. he stressed that the representatives attending the event should focus on the development of monitoring technology, scientifically judge the development trend of technology, be guided by the needs of signaling repair and maintenance, aim at the reform and innovation of the maintenance system, gather forces to carry out original and leading scientific and technological research, and further enhance the informationization, digitalization, and intellectualization of monitoring system to promote scientific signal maintenance.
zhao yang pointed out that this is the 1st technology exchange meeting on centralized railway signal monitoring system. he hopes that everyone can brainstorm and speak out freely in discussions to jointly promote the development of centralized signal monitoring technology, and strive to make greater contributions to the technological progress and high-quality development of the railway industry.
on behalf of china railway guangzhou group, luo jinglun extended warm welcome to all the guests, and said that holding this meeting is of great significance for various railway groups to enhance mutual understanding of the o&m of signaling equipment, to promote the exchange and cooperation in the r&d and application of centralized signaling monitoring technology, and to direct its development towards centralization, intellectualization, automation and integration.
subsequently, representatives from eight participating entities, including casco, made special reports. hu enhua, general manager of casco digital & intelligent product center, delivered a speech on the topic of "design and application practice of metro network digital operation and maintenance system", focusing on the background of the construction of casco's digital o&m system for metro network, as well as the architecture, application results and project implementation experience of the system, which provides a sample for future reference in the construction of china railway's monitoring and o&m platforms.
during the meeting, the collection and selection of papers for the 1st technology exchange meeting on centralized signaling monitoring system were also announced. after the evaluation of the expert group, a total of 34 papers were included in the proceedings of the meeting. casco’s paper was successfully selected and rated as "high quality paper" with other 8 papers from cr lanzhou group, cr jinan group, cr chengdu group, etc.
visit and exchange
on the afternoon of november 16, the representatives visited the signal data center of guangzhou baiyun station and the dispatching and command center of guangzhou signaling & telecommunication section, gaining a further understanding of the role of cr guangzhou group’s monitoring system in the daily o&m of the signaling system.
on the morning of november 17, the participating entities held a technical exchange chaired by jin jun. in a warm atmosphere, the representatives spoke enthusiastically, discussing the development and application of the new technology of centralized signaling monitoring system, daily maintenance and management of equipment, establishment and improvement of rules and regulations, job setting and talent training, equipment inspection and certification, project design, construction and acceptance, etc.
at the end of the meeting, he changshou concluded and emphasized that all participating entities should raise their awareness, clarify the positioning of the centralized signaling monitoring system, carry out sufficient thinking, make overall plans, and ensure active communication to construct and reinforce the centralized signaling monitoring system. relevant entities should discuss and work together to actively promote the preparation and improvement of relevant technical standards. the o&m entities should focus on improving the professional quality of personnel to build a talent team, thus providing solid human support for the “proper management and use” of the centralized signaling monitoring system. we must use it as a window to display a good image of signaling work and highlight the responsibility of the centralized signaling monitoring system in railway transportation.
