the main line of the railway starts from the port of morebaya and ends at the simandou mining area, with a total length of 551.92 kilometers and 12 newly built stations along the line. the newly awarded branch line project starts from no. 3 and no. 4 mine stations, and connects northward with the main line. it is approximately 72.44 kilometers in length, and includes seven new stations. together with the main line, they form a vital transportation artery traversing over 600 kilometers from east to west.
